On-Chain Resolver

The on-chain resolver will make crypto networks into social networks by tying NFTs to human-readable profiles. It is designed to map NFT Profiles to on-chain addresses. The purpose is to enable an NFT Profile Owner to display owned NFTs from multiple different addresses controlled by the Profile Owner. These can include the NFTs from multiple addresses, or NFTs from a collection that was created by the NFT Profile Owner.

Addresses, whether they are individual, institutional, smart contracts or collection addresses, will need to be verifiably controlled by the Profile Owner. This is done by requesting a user to sign an on-chain transaction through their third party wallet.

New associations update the on-chain registry of NFT Profiles such that the mapping of addresses is portable to any other domain referencing the same smart contracts. This ensures that any domain can display the aggregated collection of NFTs owned by addresses that have been associated by the Profile Owner.

Connections between NFT Profiles and addresses are managed through the Settings page of NFT.com.
